Why book your holiday transfer in October or November

Over Christmas and New Year, families come home, ski groups fly in and city breaks start on the same few days. The heaviest arrivals are usually in the days just before Christmas and between 26 and 30 December, and the heaviest departures are around 2–4 January, when the school holidays end. Ski hotels in the resorts often change guests on the same day of the week, so many people land on the same flights. A transfer that is booked early is planned before those days fill up: the right vehicle, the right driver and the right pick-up time.

• Fixed price: we confirm the price from our price list when you book, for the whole vehicle, not per person. That is the price you pay in December.
• No prepayment: nothing to pay now. You pay the driver at the end of the trip.
• Plans change: new flight time, one more guest, an extra suitcase? Send the new details in the chat and we update the booking.

Holiday transfer prices 2026/27: airports to the ski resorts

The prices below come from our price lists for Sofia Airport, Plovdiv Airport, Burgas Airport and Varna Airport. Each price is for one vehicle with driver, fuel and road tolls included.

The return from the resort to the airport is priced separately: ask for it when you book and we confirm it in advance, so both ways are fixed before you fly. VIP class (Mercedes E-Class or S-Class) and buses for more than 8 people are on request. From the airport to the city for the holidays

Not everyone heads for the slopes. Many guests spend Christmas with family in Sofia or Plovdiv, or celebrate New Year on the coast in Burgas or Varna. These are the city transfers from the same price lists:

Which airport for which resort

Sofia Airport has the most winter flights and is the natural choice for Borovets (75 km) and Bansko (155 km). Plovdiv Airport is the closest to Pamporovo (85 km) and a good alternative for Borovets and Bansko if your airline flies there. Burgas and Varna are summer airports first of all; in winter they make sense when the flight is much cheaper or when you combine the coast with a few days in the mountains. From Burgas, Pamporovo is the nearest ski resort (305 km); from Varna every resort is more than 400 km away, so plan a full travel day.

Night arrivals and the busiest days

Holiday flights often land late in the evening or after midnight. We work 24/7, all through the holidays, so a night arrival is planned like any other.

• Flight tracking: we follow your flight, so an early landing is no problem.
• Delayed flight: if your flight is late, waiting at the airport is free and has no time limit.
• Your driver’s details: you receive the driver’s name and phone number before the trip, and he meets you in the arrivals hall.
• Pick-up from an address: on the way back the driver is there on time and waits up to 15 minutes.

Arriving at night and going straight to a ski resort? The mountain roads are open at night too, but you will be on the road for 1.5 to 7 hours depending on the airport, so think about whether you prefer a night in the city and the transfer next morning. We can book both for you.

Winter roads: tyres, chains and timing

From mid-November our cars run on winter tyres, and when there is heavy snow we also have chains. After a snowfall the roads are cleared, but the drive can take longer than the times in the tables. The driver takes the safest open road at that moment, and the agreed price does not change.

For the flight home, add a buffer for snow and for the longer queues at the airport over the holidays. Send us your departure time and we suggest the pick-up time from your hotel.

Families and groups: minivans, minibuses and buses

• Car (up to 4): Skoda Octavia or similar, 2 large suitcases. A family of four with skis and presents is more comfortable in a minivan.
• Minivan (up to 6): VW Caddy Maxi or similar, up to 4 large suitcases.
• Minibus (up to 8): VW Transporter or similar, room for 8 suitcases and ski bags.
• Bigger groups: True Drivers is part of a group with around 200 cars, 50 minivans, 100 buses and 20 S-Class and E-Class cars, so a family reunion, a ski club or a company trip on one flight can travel together. Prices for more than 8 people are on request.
• Child seats at no extra cost: infant carrier, child seat and booster. Tell us how many and which ones.

Do you work on Christmas Day and on New Year’s Eve?

Yes. We work 24/7, including 24, 25 and 31 December and 1 January. Book early, because these are the busiest days of the winter.

How much is a transfer from Sofia Airport to Bansko over Christmas?

The price from our price list is 100 € by car for up to 4 people, 140 € by minivan for up to 6 and 150 € by minibus for up to 8. It is for the whole vehicle and is fixed when you book.

Do I have to pay in advance to book a holiday transfer?

No. There is no prepayment: you book now and pay the driver at the end of the transfer.

My flight lands after midnight. Is that a problem?

No. We work around the clock, and we track your flight. If it is delayed, the driver waits at the airport for free and with no time limit.

We are 12 people with children. Can you take us together?

Yes. For groups larger than 8 we offer a bus or several vehicles on the same flight, and the price is on request. Infant carriers, child seats and boosters are free of charge.

Are your cars ready for snow?

Yes. From mid-November our cars have winter tyres, and in heavy snow we also have chains. The driver chooses the safest open road, and the agreed price stays the same.
