How much does a transfer from Burgas Airport to Sozopol cost?

For four people, a sedan works if everyone has a normal suitcase. Four adults with big summer suitcases, a family with a pushchair and beach gear, or a group with golf bags or diving equipment should book the minivan: the sedan takes four passengers, but not always four passengers and all their luggage. Two families travelling together often pay less per person in one minibus than in two cars.

A Mercedes E-Class or S-Class and buses for groups of more than 8 people are on request. The trip back from Sozopol to Burgas Airport has its own price, which we confirm when you book. How long is the drive from Burgas Airport to Sozopol?

About 45 minutes for roughly 35 km. Burgas Airport is in Sarafovo, on the northern edge of Burgas. From there the driver goes around the city and its lakes, then takes the coast road south past Kraimorie and Chernomorets. There is no motorway and no border on this route, and the last part runs close to the sea.

Plan a little more time on summer Saturdays. In July and August many hotels change guests on the same day, and the road into Sozopol gets busy in the afternoon. For your flight home, send us the departure time and we suggest a pick-up time with a buffer for traffic and check-in. If you want to stop at a supermarket or a cash machine on the way, just tell the driver.

Where does the driver meet me at Burgas Airport?

In the arrivals hall, after baggage claim. Before the trip you get the driver’s name and phone number, so you can call or write to him as soon as you land. We follow your flight: if it lands early, the driver is already there, and if it is delayed, waiting is free and has no time limit.

When we pick you up at a hotel or flat in Sozopol, for example for the flight home, the driver arrives on time and waits up to 15 minutes at the address.

Old Town or new town: where we drop you off

Sozopol has two very different parts. The Old Town sits on a rocky peninsula, with narrow cobbled lanes, wooden houses and small guesthouses. Many of its streets are too narrow for a car, so the driver stops as close to your door as the road allows, and the last few metres are on foot. Send us the exact address and we will tell you in advance if that is the case.

The new town on the mainland, around the long Harmanite beach, has wider streets, larger hotels and apartment buildings, and the car can usually stop right at the entrance. Holiday complexes outside the town are possible as well: send us the name of the place and we confirm the price before you book.

Can I bring a pushchair, a surfboard or a pet?

Yes for luggage: tell us about pushchairs, surfboards, bikes, golf bags or diving kit when you book, and we send a vehicle where everything fits. The driver helps you load the car. Landing in Sofia instead

Some visitors fly to Sofia, because there are more flights there outside the summer season. How do I pay?

You pay the driver at the end of the trip. There is no prepayment and no deposit: you book, we confirm the fixed price, and nothing is charged before you are in Sozopol. If you need a receipt or an invoice for your company, tell us when you book.
