Obzor, Byala and Shkorpilovtsi: transfer from Varna or Burgas Airport

A private transfer from Varna Airport to Obzor costs 65 € for a sedan with up to 4 passengers, 85 € for a minivan with up to 6 and 100 € for a minibus with up to 8. The drive is about 60 km and takes around an hour. Byala is 60 € and Shkorpilovtsi 50 € from the same airport. If you land in Burgas instead, Obzor and Byala start at 80 €. The price is fixed for the whole car, you pay nothing in advance, and we drive 24/7.

Obzor, Byala and Shkorpilovtsi: between the two airports

These three places lie on the stretch of coast between Varna and Burgas, where the last hills of the Balkan mountains reach the sea. Because they sit in the middle, guests often ask which airport is better. Our price list gives a clear answer: for all three, Varna Airport is closer and cheaper. Burgas still works well, and sometimes the flight there is the one that fits your dates, so below you will find both.

These rows come from our Varna Airport price list. Each price is for the whole vehicle, one way, and includes the driver, the fuel and the drive to the door of your hotel, apartment or holiday house.

Prices from Burgas Airport

From Burgas Airport the driver heads north past Sunny Beach and then over the hills to Obzor. It is a longer drive, especially to Shkorpilovtsi, and the prices from our Burgas Airport price list reflect that:

So for Obzor the difference is 15 € by sedan, for Byala 20 €, and to Shkorpilovtsi a sedan from Varna costs half as much (50 € instead of 100 €). Groups of more than 8 people and Mercedes E-Class or S-Class cars are on request. The ride back to the airport has its own price, which we confirm when you book, because it is not always the same as the way there. Where you are staying

Obzor

Obzor is a small town with a long sandy beach and a holiday area of hotels and apartment blocks behind it. It is quieter than Sunny Beach but has enough restaurants and shops for a week by the sea. Many apartments are in gated complexes with a reception, so send us the name of the complex and the block, and the driver stops at the right entrance.

Byala

Byala is a little town on a high coast, with beaches below the cliffs and a few larger resort hotels on the edges of town. Some places are reached by narrow streets that go down towards the sea; with the exact address the driver chooses the easiest way in.

Shkorpilovtsi

Shkorpilovtsi is a village with one of the longest beaches on the Bulgarian coast, south of the Kamchia river. Accommodation here is spread out: guest houses, campsites and small hotels along the dunes. Give us a pin or the name of the place and we take you all the way, not just to the village centre.

The drive from each airport

From Varna Airport the route goes around the city and south along the coast road. Shkorpilovtsi comes first, after about 55 minutes, then Byala and Obzor at about an hour. There is no motorway on this route. In July and August traffic around Varna can be heavy at the end of the day, so on the way back plan a little extra time before your flight.

From Burgas Airport the road passes Pomorie and Sunny Beach and climbs the hills before going down to Obzor, which takes about an hour and a half. If you would like a short stop on the way, for a shop or a coffee, tell us when you book and we confirm the price.

Meeting your driver and waiting time

At both airports the driver waits in the arrivals hall with a sign with your name. Before the trip you receive the driver’s name and phone number, and all our drivers speak English. We follow your flight: if it lands late, waiting at the airport is free and has no time limit.

For the trip back, the driver comes to your hotel or apartment at the agreed time and waits up to 15 minutes at the address. Send us your flight time and we suggest when to leave.

Families, luggage and groups

• Child seats at no extra cost: infant carrier, child seat and booster. Tell us how many children travel with you.
• Luggage: a family of four with four suitcases fits in a sedan; with a pram, beach gear or more bags a minivan is more comfortable.
• Groups: up to 8 people ride together in one minibus. For more, we arrange several vehicles or a bus.

Landing in Sofia

Booking and paying

You pay the driver at the end of the ride: no prepayment and no deposit. If you need a receipt or an invoice for a company, tell us when you book.

1. Send us the date, flight number, the address or complex and the number of passengers and suitcases.
2. We confirm the fixed price and the details by chat or e-mail.
3. The driver meets you in arrivals, and you pay at the end of the trip.
