The way across the country depends on the day. Usually the driver goes east on the Hemus motorway, continues on the main road through northern Bulgaria and joins the motorway again for the last part to Varna. When there are roadworks or heavy traffic in the north, the Trakia motorway to Burgas and the coast road up to Varna is an option. The driver decides on the day, the price stays the same.
With four or more hours of driving most people stop once, about halfway, for coffee and a short walk. If you would like to see Veliko Tarnovo or another town on the way, say so when you book and we will plan the stop.
